Our pets can experience similar problems to humans, but unfortunately they aren’t able to tell us where their pain is or if they have injured themselves.

Here at St. Georges we always aim to give your beloved pet the best possible care and we believe that Physiotherapy can help to ease pain and discomfort from a range of common conditions and can also aid post operative care.

Treatment services include hydrotherapy, manual therapies; including massage and stretching, remedial exercise prescription to suit the rehabilitation or fitness requirements of your pet and electrotherapies including neuromuscular stimulation and pulsed magnetic field.

Common conditions treated include:

Luxating Patella

Cruciate Injuries

Ligament and Tendon Injuries

Hip & Elbow dysplasia

Muscle Imbalances

Gait Abnormalities

Neurological Conditions

We would like to introduce our physiotherapist Stephanie Green of SG Veterinary Physiotheraphy.  Stephanie graduated from Harper Adams University with a BSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy and is registered with the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists.  She has extensive experience working in the field of canine physiotherapy and can offer various therapies tailored specifically to meet your pet’s individual needs.

Steph is based at our Wolverhampton Hospital but is happy to arrange to visit you at any one of our branch surgeries.  She can also arrange to visit you at home within a 20 mile radius of the Wolverhampton Hospital.  Our vets will provide Stephanie with all the referral information she needs and she will have access to your dog’s medical history to ensure that the best possible treatment is given.
